The first night of WrestleMania was thrilling and freaking.
The highlight of the first night of WrestleMania 40 was the controversial victory of The Rock and Roman Reigns over Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
The American Nightmare’s Undisputed WWE Championship Match against The Tribal Chief on WrestleMania Sunday will be the match to watch now with Bloodline rules.
There were seven matches planned for night 1 and remaining six for night 2.
WWE Women’s World Championship
Rhea Ripley kicks off WrestleMania XL, Saturday with a win over Becky Lynch and will keep Women’s World Championship. The Man tried but Mami was on mission to defeat her and humiliate her.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships
The Awesome Truth and A-Town down under are the two new WWE Tag Team Champions.
A-Town down under thwarted The Awesome Truth and #DIY plan and scaled the ladder to become SmackDown Tag Team Champion.
Dragon Lee/Rey Mysterio vs Dominik/Santos Escobar
Rey Mysterio, “WWE Hall of Fame”, beat his own son, Dirty Dominik Mysterio & Santos Escobar with Dragon Lee. As its team partner.
Two masked men made a surprised entry and attacked the Dirty Dom allowing The LWO to regain control and win the match. The mystery men revealed themselves as NFL superstars Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles
Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso
The twin brothers fought the battle with a bang. There was lot of emotions and cunning tears in the match.
In the end, Jey counter his brother into a Spear and hit an Uso Splash to earn the victory over his twin.
Six Women Tag Team Match
The Damage CTRK team of Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai was defeated by team of Jade Cargill, Naomi, and Bianca Belair in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match.
Cargill was the hero for her team in her Wrestle Mania debut. She tossed Damage CTRL’s team members and allowed her partners enough time to recover.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
Sami Zayn won the Intercontinental Championship match today by beating Gunther at WrestleMania XL Saturday. It was a brutal match and Sami showed all his power and trick to defeat the defending champion.
Roman Reigns will be in action on April 7 to defend his undisputed WWE Universal Championship which he won by defeating The American Nightmare in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
Can Cody Rhodes take a revenge of last time loss from Roman Reigns?
Nevertheless, it will be thrilling match, as 2024 Royal Rumble winner is looking to take the game on for his revenge. Rhodes showed his intention and confirmed this matchup in WrestleMania XI Kickoff in Las Vegas, angering and insulting The Rock who wanted a match with Reigns.
