Bloodline Rules comes into play tonight in WrestleMania 40 Night 2.
The first night of WrestleMania was thrilling and freaking. The second night was not less than the first night with tons of exciting matchups. You cannot distinguish which night was more thrilling as each night has its own flavor and excitements.
The main highlight of Night 2 was the Bloodline Rules, WWE Championship match between The American Nightmare and The Tribal Chief
There were six matchups scheduled for Night 2 in WrestleMania 40.
1] Six-Man Philadelphia Street Fight
This was the first matchup of night 2. The pride defeated The Final Testament in a Six Man Philadelphia Street Fight. Bubba Ray Dudley was the special guest referee for this Six Man Tag Team Philadelphia Street Fight. Snoop Dogg, WWE Hall of Fame was there to provide guest commentary during the match.
2] AJ Styles vs LA Knight
In the second match, LA Knight defeated AJ Styles. The two superstars are trying to take each other with Knight biting Styles in a gruesome act.
Tonight, animosity between the top was in peak. Styles tried for a Phenomenal Forearm; Knight caught his rival with a devastating BFT to win the match.
3] WWE United States Championship-Logan Paul vs. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton
In a triple threat match today, United States Champion Logan Paul defeated both Kevin Owens and Randy Orton tonight.
Paul used his stunning frog splash on Owens to retain the US title.
4] WWE Women’s Championship-Iyo Sky vs. Bayley
In the Women’s Championship Match, Bayley defeated Iyo Sky. This was a personal match for both as both friends took on each other. SKY seemed to be closing in on a win by narrowly avoided a Rose Plant, but The Role Model landed a huge elbow drop.
Bayley finally connected with the Rose Plant, becoming the new WWE Women’s Champion in a fiery performance.
5] WWE World Heavyweight Championship-Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre
This was the second most sought match for Night 2. Drew McIntyre wins the World Heavyweight Title by defeating Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
With special entrance of Drew McIntyre and defending World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins, match excitement was increased manyfold.
McIntyre almost stunned all the fans into silence as he clattered The Visionary with a Claymore just seconds into the match, but Rollins survived.
Rollins got onto the announcement table and landed a monumental Stomp on McIntyre, however, The Scottish Warrior recovered and hit two devastating Claymores for the three-count.
After the match, an emotional Rollins exited up the ramp and appeared to say “You deserve it, man” to the new champion.
But there was more drama on the cards as Damian Priest dashed to the ring to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, drilling McIntyre with the briefcase at ringside and become the new World Heavyweight Champion and celebrating with his ecstatic Judgment Day family on top of the stage.
6] Undisputed WWE Universal Championship-Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes
The most anticipated match of WrestleMania 40 Night 2 was between Roman Reigns and The American Nightmare for WWE Universal Championship.
Cody Rhodes defeated the defending WWE Universal Champion tonight, Roman Reigns and become the new WWE Universal Champion.
Despite his loss yesterday in the hands of Roman Reigns and The Rock, Cody Rhodes with assistance from John Cena and The Undertaker overcome The Bloodline and finally end the epic title reign of The Tribal Chief. What a Climax of 2024 WrestleMania. It was incredible.
