The 29-year-old, 6 foot 8, “King of the Stones”, Tom Stoltman, became the 2024 Strongest Man in the World. The Scottish beat defending champion Mitchell Hopper from Canada to win his 3rd title in the last four years. It was sweet revenge for last year’s loss in the final round to Mitchell Hopper.

“The “Albatross”, is now tied with American Bill Kazmaeir (1980, 1981, 1982) for third on the WSM’s all-time winners list.

Dogs or Pandas or Panda Dogs in China

 A zoo in China has been in the limelight lately for painting two dogs in black and white to look like Pandas and deceiving visitors. The panda is an international symbol of the country and is endemic to China. The animals are patterned to resemble pandas such as Chow Chows- a fluffy dog from northern China.

A lot of people show their disdain on social media for the way Zoo officials treat Chow Chow dogs to attract tourists.

There is no official confirmation of any punishment for Zoo officials yet.

Late Night Ice Cream Ban

Milan will impose a ban on late-night ice cream vendors on the street to protect the tranquillity of residents. This will be a surprising law as late-night gelato is a part of Italian culture. As per govt, it is causing a nuisance to the residents as noisy groups crowing on the streets of the Italian city keep the nearby residents up.

They tried a similar ban in 2013 which failed.

Marilyn Birch, 76, from Pontardwe in Neath-Port Talbot, United Kingdom is the happiest person on that particular day when she found her missing engagement ring after 54 years.

She was feeding cattle on her family farm in 1970 when she lost the ring She tried to search for it, however, after many attempts, she gave up. But detectorist Keith Phillips, who was appointed the task of exploring the land for its resources found the engagement ring buried right inches down in one of the fields.

She went speechless and emotional after seeing the ring.

This was a lovely reunion.

Adam Sandel has reclaimed the world record for the most pull-ups in a minute. Harvard Law School lecturer, “Professor Pull-Ups”  has completed 77 pull-ups in a minute which is more than 74 of China’s Hong Zhongtao, and created New Guinness World Record.

This is one of the most difficult records and Adam Sandel has adopted a wide grip to maximize speed.

James Jorgensen of Northborough is a strong Star Wars fan and on Star Wars Day, he won a $5.37 million lottery jackpot.  What a gift he has received on this wonderful day. He has planned to build a new home and spend rest for his kids in college.

World’s oldest skydiver

 Alfred “Al” Blaschke from Texas created a Guinness World Records title by going skydiving at the age of 106 years and 327 days old beating Swedish woman Rut Linnéa Ingegärd Larsson, who was 103 years and 259 days old when she went skydiving.
