Steven Taylor is an American cricketer, born on 9 November 1993 in South Florida. He was the captain of the United States Cricket Team until September 2017 and is regarded as one of the best batsmen in the cricket history of the United States. He also bowls off-breaks and can keep wickets as wicketkeeper, a versatile personality.

In March 2013, He scored 101 off 62 balls against Bermuda and became the first USA player to score a T20 century.
One late-night drinking controversy in 2013 on a tour to Canada at the Regional U-19 World Cup Qualifier in Toronto changed his life. His captaincy had been stripped and also received a one-match suspension for breaking team rules. Since then, he has struggled to reach the heights he did in the first half of 2013 for the USA despite his talent.
He was given another chance and was named USA captain once again in the summer of 2016, leading USA to the WCL Division Four title on home soil in Los Angeles.
