Rashid Khan is an Afghanistan cricketer, born on 20 September 1998 in Afghanistan. He is a right-arm leg-break bowler and right-hand aggressive batsman in the lower middle order and contributed small quick knocks for his country and his franchise teams, therefore a very useful all-rounder.

He is one of the first cricketers from Afghanistan who shined in the international arena. He made his debut in 2015 against Zimbabwe and there is no looking back after that.

He made his ODI World Cup debut in the 2019 Cricket World Cup and was captain of Afghanistan following the World Cup in all three formats.

He was awarded the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Decade award in November 2020.

He has played with most of the franchises around the world and has always been the first choice for any franchises. He made his IPL debut in the 2017 Indian Premier League with Sunrisers Hyderabad and became one of the first-ever Afghan players to be selected for the IPL
