Liverpool tried its best but managed to draw a match with Manchester United and Arsenal will remain at the top position at Premier League Points Table.
Liverpool started well today with the first goal in the 23rd minute by Luis Diaz with assistance from Darwin Nunez.
Liverpool was leading the first half 1-0.
In the second half, Manchester United played more aggressively and scored the equalizer in 50 minutes and took the lead seventeen minutes later at 67 minutes. Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo scored goals for Manchester United. Kobbie Mainoo became the first 18-year-old to net a Premier League goal against Liverpool since Cesc Fabregas for Arsenal in May 2005, while he is also the youngest ever United scorer against Liverpool in the competition.
It looked like the Manchester United day, until Mohamed Salah’s late penalty in 84 minutes saw the Reds fight back to the draw the match 2-2 and gain the valuable point in the Premier League title race.
Sheffield Utd 2 vs 2 Chelsea
The second match on Sunday, April 7 was between Sheffield United, which is in 20th position with 16 points and Chelsea, which is placed in 9th position with 44 points.
Chelsea started well and scored its first goal of the match in 11 minutes. Thiago Silva, with the assistance of Conor Gallagher scored the first goal and gave Chelsea 1-0 lead.
Sheffield United’s Jayden Bogle equalized the score immediately in 32 minutes and both teams were tied at the half time 1-1.
Noni Madueke increased the lead for Chelsea in 66 minutes when scored a goal with a pass from Cole Palmer.
Chelsea was leading 2-1 till 90 minutes and Oliver McBurnie scored a stunning goal with a pass from Cameron Archer in extra time and levelled the score 2-2 for Sheffield United.
This was an amazing comeback from Sheffield United to draw this match with Chelsea.
Spurs 3 vs 1 Nott’m Forest
The final match on Sunday, April 7 was between Tottenham Hotspur, which is in 5th position with 58 points and Nottingham Forest, which is placed in 17th position with 26 points.
Spurs started well and scored the first goal within the first 15 minutes. Murillo scored the first goal and gave the Spurs a 1-0 lead.
Nottingham Forest did not wait long and scored the goal to level it 1-1. Chris Wood, with assistance from Anthony Elanga, scored the goal for Nottingham Forest.
Both teams were tied at 1-1 at half time.
In the second half, Micky Van De Ven scored a leading goal for Spurs in 52 minutes with assistance from Son Heung Min and gave Spurs a 2-1 lead.
Pedro Porro scored the 3rd goal in 58 minutes for Spurs and gave a 3-1 lead to Spurs.
Spurs won the match 3-1.
