The first day of the first round(Total six rounds) of Women’s NCAA March Madness was completed on March 22.
We saw some exciting games today. Most of the games were comfortably won by high-ranking teams like Texas, Standford, and Oregon
Some of them have nail-biting finishes like Nebraska 61 vs Texas A&M 59, Middle Tennessee 71 vs Louisville 69, and North Carolina 59 vs Michigan State 56.
One of the major upsets was when No. 11 Middle Tennessee defeated No. 6 Louisville with a final score of 71-69. This was MTSU’s first win in 17 years.
This was an incredible comeback from MTSU as at one point they were down 18 points and Louisville dominated them from the start.
Wheeler scored 20 of her 22 points in the second half, and they stormed back to defeat sixth-seeded Louisville 71-69 in the first round.
