March Madness is on a Roll.
The NCAA men’s championship first round has been completed today and we have the lineup ready for Round two starting from March 24.
We saw some exciting games today on day 2 of round one. Day 1 was completed on March 21. Some games on day 2 were comfortably won by high-ranking teams like UConn, Duke, and Baylor, however, we have collected teams that beat their higher-rank opponents.
The major upset for today was for Wisconsin. The No.12 seeded James Madison defeated No. 5 Wisconsin with the end score of 72-61.
James Madison took control from the start and maintained their lead throughout the match.
James Madison will meet No. 4 Duke in Round 2 on Sunday.
There was another game to watch between 10th Rank Colorado vs 7th Rank Florida. This was one of the most exciting matches so far in the NCAA men’s championship.
Both the teams went hard till the last minute and, No. 10 Colorado delivered an upset win over No. 7 Florida in the final seconds with 102-100 final score.
There was another stunning upset when 4th-seeded Auburn lost to No. 13 Yale 76-78 final score.
No. 8 seed Nebraska lost to No. 9 seed Texas A&M today. Keisei Tominaga, the Japanese star scored 21 points in Friday’s first-round game but was not able to save Nebraska. Texas won 98-83.
Days last match was also shocking where No. 12 Grand Canyon defeated No. 5 Saint Mary’s with a final score of 75-66.
