More than a Million Americans already filled their March Madness brackets as brackets had to be locked in on Thursday, March 21, and there will be a lot of fun in the next couple of weeks. However, according to the NCAA, nobody has got the perfect bracket so far in the history of March Madness. March Madness will last about three weeks, starting with the First Four on Tuesday, March 19, and ending with the title game on Monday, April 8.
There were 68 teams which eventually, reduced to 64 as the lowest eight competed in the First four round before the tournament started with the first round on March 21.
After the First Four, the NCAA Tournament consists of six rounds:
Eight cities will host the first and second rounds: Brooklyn, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Omaha, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, Spokane, and Memphis.
Boston, Dallas, Detroit, and Los Angeles from March 28-31 will host Sweet 16 and Elite Eight rounds.
State Farm Stadium in Glendale will take care of the Final Four and the National Championship final game on April 6 and April 8.
According to Statista, North Carolina, UCLA and Kentucky have the most Final Four appearances in the history of the championship with 21, 18, and 17 respectively.
According to NCAA.com, UCLA has won the title 11 times which is most by any team, followed by Kentucky 8 times and North Carolina 6 times.
