First Time Lucky
Katelynne Berland from Virginia bought the first lottery ticket in her life and ended up winning a $50,000 prize. She told Virginia Lottery officials that her mom wanted me to pick some lottery tickets and she picked her first ticket for pick 5 drawing.
She matched all five numbers and won $50,000. She will use her winning wisely and help with her sister’s college tuition.
Biggest model aircraft carrier
James Whomsley created a Guinness World Record by building the world’s biggest remote-controlled aircraft carrier model.
According to the Guinness World Record, the Aircraft Carrier model is 16.46-foot long. He used wood, foam, and fiberglass to build it and make it waterproof with expanding foam.
He narrated the whole process in his YouTube video.
Monster in a Room
Parents in North Carolina were amazed and worried when their three-year-old daughter said that she heard monsters in her bedroom wall. Her parents were worried about her mental health and thought that she was imagining this story. However, when she insists on the monster’s presence. Parents just tried to look and found more than 50,000 bee kingdoms.
The class uses Beekeeper Curtis Collins help to remove all these bees and it costs them $20,000 from their pocket.
Man spins fire sword to win World Record
An Idaho man added a name to the Guinness World Record by throwing and catching a fire sword 73 times in 30 seconds, breaking the previous record of 60.
Big Screen to block Mount Fuji in Japan
The town of Fujikawaguchiko in Japan has unwanted tourists as it has perfect spots that offer a perfect shot of Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji.
The town on Tuesday decided to build a large black screen to block the view of the mountain as locals are fed up with misbehaving foreign tourists.
This small town became famous around two years ago when someone shot a photo showing Mt. Fuji in the background from one of the stores, Lawson, and, became a social media sensation known as “Mt. Fuji Lawson”.
Snake longer than a school bus
Researchers discovered an ancient giant snake that lived 47 million years ago in western India. It was estimated 36 feet(11m) to 50 feet(15m) long, is longer than our school bus, and could have weighed up to 2200 pounds (one Ton).
The reticulated python at 33 feet (10 meters) is the largest snake living today in Asia.
Wild Orangutans Use Medicinal Plants to Treat Wound
As per a new study in a scientific report, an orangutan appeared to pluck and chew up leaves of medicinal plant and use its fingers to apply them to treat a wound.
Scientists observed Photographs taken in different stages and found that the animal’s wound heals after a certain time without any problems.
Scientists have observed other animals using this type of method to treat their wounds.
