CONCACAF Nations League: USA Defeated Mexico in Finals

The CONCACAF Nations League’s first three-place matches were scheduled on Sunday, March 24.

The USA defeated Jamaica in the semi-final and Mexico defeated Panama on March 21 to reach the finals.

Panama vs Jamaica for 3rd Place

The first match was played between Panama and Jamaica for 3rd place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Jamaica’s Dexter Lembikisa scored the first and final goal of the match at 42 minutes and gave Jamaica a 1-0 unbeatable lead as the final score was 1-0.

Jamaica won the Third-Place Match of the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League Finals and became the first team from the Caribbean to finish on the podium in the Concacaf Nations League Finals.

USMNT vs Mexico

The final match of The CONCACAF Nations League was played between defending champion USMNT and Mexico on Sunday, March 24 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. 

USA’s Tyler Adams scored the first goal for his team at 45 minutes right before half-time.. It was the perfect shot from a distance. The match score after the first half was USA 1, Mexico 0.

The defending champion USMNT took a 2-0 lead in the 63rd minute in the second half when Gio Reyna scored the match-winner second goal.

This is it, USMNT was too good for Mexico today. USA defeated Mexico 2-0 and won CONCACAF Nations League final.

USA becomes the champions of the CONCACAF Nations League for the third time in a row.
