Kane Williamson will lead the New Zealand team for the fourth time for the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 and this will be his sixth appearance in the T20 World Cup and Gary Stead will be the head coach.

Kane Williamson (C), Daryl Mitchell, Trent Boult, Michael Bracewell, Finn Allen, Mark Chapman, Lockie Ferguson, Matt Henry, Devon Conway, Glenn Phillips, Rachin Ravindra, Mitchell Santner, Jimmy Neesham, Ish Sodhi, Tim Southee.
Reserve Members: Ben Sears.
The surprising omission is, Will O’Rourke, Tom Latham, Tim Seifert, and Will Young despite having good form in the white ball game as team management prefer experience in this mega event. Fast bowling duo Tim Southee and Trent Boult have been included in the squad. This will be Southee’s seventh and Boult’s fifth World Cup.
key pacer Kyle Jamieson and all-rounder Adam Milne will be out due to back and ankle injuries and will miss the event.
