Nepal 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup Squad
Rohit Paudel will be the captain of the Nepal team for the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2024. Dipendra Singh Airee is included in the batting lineup after his explosive performance against Qatar in which he hit six sixes in an over in April 2024 and created history. He is now the third batter to hit six sixes in an over in a men’s T20I. Yuvraj Singh from India did it in T20 World Cup 2007 off Stuart Broad and Kieron Pollard from West Indies did it in 2021 off Akila Dananjaya.

Rohit Paudel (c), Kushal Bhurtel, Dipendra Singh Airee, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Kushal Malla, Gulshan Jha, Anil Kumar Sah, Pratis GC, Aasif Sheikh, Sundeep Jora, Abinash Bohara, Sompal Kami, Sagar Dhakal, Kamal Singh Airee.
Reserve Members: No Reserves.
Aarif Sheikh, Bibek Yadav, and Aakash Chand have been left out of the 15-man squad for the World Cup along with Sandeep Lamichhane, Nepal’s best-known T20 cricketer, who is currently serving a jail sentence.
“All teams are allowed to make changes to their squad till 25 May without getting any approval from anybody, after that they need to get approval from ICC’s event technical committee to make any changes.”
Players to Watch in this World Cup from Nepal:
- Rohit Paudel, the captain is in great form and hit 54 balls 112 runs against West Indies A team.
- Dipendra Singh Airee, an all-rounder can break many records after his six sixes show recently. He can be the X-factor for Nepal.
- Sompal Kami, a fast bowling all-rounder can utilise his experience as he was part of the debut 2014 campaign too.
- Lalit Rajbanshi, a Left-arm orthodox spinner can create magic with his bowling any day.

Nepal will kick off its 2024 ICC T20 World Cup with the Netherlands on June 4 in Dallas, USA.
