Simone Biles is an American artistic gymnastics Olympic champion, born on 14 March 1997 in Ohio, United States. She has the most Olympic medals earned by an American gymnast and is recognized as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.
She became the first American woman to win three Olympic all-around, vault, and team titles in the 2024 Paris Olympics. She is the first female gymnast since Daniela Silivas to win a medal in every event at a single Olympic Games or World Championships and the first American female gymnast to win a world medal in every event.
She is known for her ease of performing the most difficult floor exercise in women’s artistic gymnastics. She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2022 by President Joe Biden.
