Josh Bowling and Conjoined Twins Abby Hensel are Happily Married

Abby and Brittany Hensel, the famous conjoined twins are living their happy married life.

They appeared first in, The Oprah Winfrey Show, in 1996 and became the talk of the town.

Their popularity soared to new heights after their life-based series was launched in the TLC reality series,” Abby and Brittany”. This series brings the best out of them and shows the world about their life, their challenges, and how they are enjoying life together.

Abby Hensel got married to Joshua Bowling, a nurse, and United States Army veteran, and father of a beautiful eight-year daughter in 2021.

As per Josh Bowling’s Facebook profile, he is currently working as director of Nursing service.

Conjoined twins are twins who are physically attached. They are divided into many categories as per their body connection.

Abby and Brittany Hensel are dicephalic-conjoined twins. They have their separate body parts above the waist like brains, heads, lungs, and hearts, and share everything below the waist same like Carmen Andrade and Lupita Andrade sisters.

Each one of them controls her half of the body and shows extraordinary coordination. Brothers Ayşe and Sema Tanrıkulu who were born in Turkey in 2000 are the only other twins with the same condition.

Abby and Brittany Hensel got their driving license. They drive, have an education degree, and teach fifth grade in school.

It is possible to separate conjoined twins if they do not share vital organs like the heart. There are many cases where separation has been successful, though it is quite complicated.

The oldest-ever conjoined twins lived are, Ronnie and Donnie Galyon, who lived to be 68 years old. They were joined at the abdomen level, and their condition is called omphalopagus. Their life documentary was available on YouTube. In 2014, the twins made the official Guinness Book World Record for the oldest conjoined twins. They surpassed the record of their heroes Chang and Eng Bunker, the world-famous conjoined twins, who lived to be 62 years 251 days old.

They died due to congestive heart failure in 2020.
